DESCRIPTION:
Cationic Polyacrylamide is a solid powder, water-soluble polymer with varying molecular weight and charge density.
It is most often used in sludge dewatering, water clarifying, or to encourage flocculation of particles present in water and allow rapid settlement of finely suspended solids.
It is a synthetic chemical that can be tailored to fit a broad range of applications.
ADVANTAGES:
- Superior dewatering performance at lower dose, reducing the water content in the mud cake from 98% to 70%.
- Achieve high solids capture, improve throughput and cake solids.
- Easily soluble in water, simple operation.
- Non-corrosive at suggested dosage, economical and effective at low levels.
- Perform well over a wide PH range.
APPLICATION:
• Raw Water Treatment:
– Flocculation
– Clarification
• Industrial Waste Water Treatment:
– Primary Clarification
– Secondary & Tertiary Treatment
– Sludge Thickening & Dewatering
– Dissolved Air Flotation
• Sewage Treatment:
– Primary Treatment
– Sludge Thickening & Dewatering
• Process Industries:
– Paper Making: Retention, Wet Strengthening Agent, Resident Agent
– Sugar Manufacturing: Mud Settling
– Mining & Metallurgy: Sludge Thickening and Water Recovery
• Petroleum and Gas Field:
-Wastewater Clarification; Sludge Treatment
