Product description:
Aluminum sulfate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Al2(SO4)3. Primarily utilized as a coagulant, aluminum sulfate is employed for purifying drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, it finds application in the paper industry.
Applications:
1) Water/ Effluent Treatment
For purification of drinking water and waste water treatment, settling of impurities by means of precipitation and flocculation.
2) Paper Industry
It helps in sizing of paper at neutral and alkaline pH, thus improving sizing efficiency and paper quality (reducing spots and holes, improving sheet formation and strength).
3) Textile Industry
For color fixing in naphthol-based dyes for cotton fabric. Paper-making sizing, sugar refining, casting, medicine refining, cement quick setting, and cosmetics raw materials etc.
