I. Properties and Uses:
ATMP has excellent chelating, low-limit inhibition, and lattice distortion-preventing effects. It can prevent the formation of scale-forming salts in water, especially calcium carbonate scale. ATMP is chemically stable in water and does not easily hydrolyze. At higher concentrations in water, it has good corrosion inhibition effects.

ATMP is used in circulating cooling water systems of thermal power plants and oil refineries, as well as in oilfield reinjection water systems. It can reduce corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or pipelines. ATMP is used as a metal ion chelating agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry, and can also be used as a metal surface treatment agent.

ATMP solid is a white granular substance, easily soluble in water, hygroscopic, easy to transport and use, and especially suitable for cold winter regions.

III. Usage Method
ATMP is often compounded with other organophosphonic acids, polycarboxylic acids, or salts to form organic water treatment agents for use in circulating cooling water systems under various water quality conditions. The optimal dosage is 1–20 mg/L; when used as a corrosion inhibitor, the dosage is 20–60 mg/L.

IV. Packaging and Storage
ATMP liquid is packaged in plastic drums, 30 kg or 250 kg per drum; ATMP solid is packaged in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene bags, 25 kg net weight per bag, or as required by the user. Store in a cool, ventilated indoor place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Shelf life is twelve months.

V. Safety Precautions
ATMP is acidic. Take precautions during handling to avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, immediately rinse with plenty of water.
