PolyAluminum Chloride (PAC) is a highly efficient inorganic polymer coagulant with the formula. Produced via polymerization of aluminum salts, it features strong charge neutralization and bridging adsorption capabilities. PAC is widely applied in drinking water purification, industrial wastewater treatment, municipal sewage, paper-making, leather tanning, precision casting, sugar refining, and more. Compared with traditional coagulants such as aluminum sulfate or ferrous sulfate, PAC requires lower dosages, provides faster floc formation, generates larger and denser flocs, ensures quicker sedimentation, causes less corrosion, and reduces overall treatment costs. It has become a vital auxiliary chemical in modern water treatment and industrial processes.
